Scientific Meeting at the Nencki Institute organized in cooperation with the Nencki Alumni Club

On Friday 15th June 2018, the annual Scientific Picnic of the Nencki Institute took place. From a scientific focus, the Nobel Prize laureate - Sir Tim Hunt gave a lecture entitled "A crooked path in science: stumbling on the secret of cell division". Afterwards, participants enjoyed a picnic, organized in cooperation with the Nencki Alumni Club, at the patio of the Institute. Discussions over a grill and coffee lasted until the late evening. The 10th anniversary of the Nencki Institute PhD Program

On 9 November, 2012 Director of the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology of the Polish Academy of Sciences and Prof Joana Barańska invite to an open meeting of PhD students entitled ”DOC – Conference of 2012” to celebrate the 10th anniversary of establishing the Nencki Institute PhD Program.

The meeting will be attended not only by PhD candidates presently in the program but also previous PhD students associated with the Nencki Alumni Club.

The Nencki Institute’s Board of Directors invites everyone to join a new initiative of the Nencki Alumni Club

The Nencki Alumni Club is open to all alumni (people who have defended their PhD theses at Nencki), professionally active as well as retired. Professional activity is understood not only as doing scientific research but also working in other fields, such as companies and schools.

In 2013 we will be celebrating the 95th anniversary of the Nencki Institute and on this occasion we would like to organize a special Session, during which Nencki alumni will talk about their achievements and share their memories.
